Mary Northam, her married surname, about age 16. She was born July 1, 1850 in Waverly, Tioga County, New York. Her husband, Will Northam, was born in England. They moved to Canada in the late 1880s or early 1890s. Their only daughter Grace Alice was born in Avon Township, Rock County, Wisconsin June 5, 1882. Grace married Hugh A. Grieg in 1903 and died in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1974.
