This photograph shows some of the West Exchange Street businesses. (North side of the square. First at right is Brager's Barber Shop run by "Fat" Brager. Next is Big A Auto Parts. Next is Bjork's Toggery owned by George Bjork. A sign can be seen for Vern's Shoe Box, a shoe store owned by Vern Guptil. The last store on the block was Wendlandt's Royal Blue grocery store. The small building across the street is Laz Montgomery's Dry Cleaning. Across the street to the south is the old City Hall and Police Station.
